But our struggles followed the same pattern. Across Turtle Island and the Americas, Native, Black, Brown, Mexican, and Indigenous peoples had land taken, labor exploited, identities erased, and histories rewritten. Borders changed. Names changed. Laws changed. The oppression did not.

Rooted Nation exists to reconnect what was intentionally separated.

This is not only about Freedmen education—though that truth matters deeply.

It is about all oppressed peoples fighting for:

• Our history

• Our rights

• Our sovereignty

• Control of our stories

We believe Social Power is real power. History proves that division weakens us, while unity changes everything.

We are not competing movements. We are not separate struggles. We are rooted in the same resistance —and rising toward the same victory.

• Recognition

• Protection of culture

• A future where our children are not erased
