About Rooted Nation
Rooted Nation is an educational and advocacy platform dedicated to raising awareness around equality, shared history, and collective responsibility. We document truth, preserve stories that have been marginalized or erased, and support community education grounded in honor, respect, and historical accountability.
A central focus of our work includes supporting fundraising efforts for litigation to fight discrimination against Black Seminoles of Oklahoma, particularly the ongoing denial of Treaty-guaranteed rights. This work is rooted in the belief that treaties are binding promises and that justice requires accountability when those promises are broken.
Rooted Nation is not about division. It is about recognition, equality, and ensuring that history, rights, and identity are not selectively honored or erased. Through education, advocacy, and public awareness, we work toward a future where justice and respect are applied equally.
Rooted Nation supports education and lawful advocacy, including litigation, as a necessary tool to challenge discrimination and uphold Treaty obligations.
